As the first Community Choice Aggregator (CCA) in California, MCE has grown to serve more than one million residents and businesses across four Bay Area counties. Over thirteen years, the organization has evolved from defending its expertise to emphasizing community-centric storytelling around clean energy. Despite this progress, social media branding and messaging remained inconsistent—split between a strict, governmental style and a bold, activist-oriented approach. Seeking to unify its identity, MCE engaged JSR to develop a cohesive social media strategy and graphic templates that would resonate with a wide range of audiences, from local customers and businesses to national policymakers and international climate action partners.
