Purpose

Rural hospitals across the United States are shutting their doors at alarming rates, creating widespread gaps in community healthcare. The Rural Health Redesign Center (RHRC) was established in 2020 as a central hub for data aggregation and rural-relevant technical assistance to combat this growing crisis. The RHRC needed a robust website to highlight its services and cultivate stronger engagement with a diverse audience of critical access hospitals, hospital associations, public health offices, and legislative stakeholders.

Goal

To position RHRC as the nation’s leading resource for rural health consulting and technical assistance. Specifically, the project sought to:

  • Expand Reach: Achieve 320,000 impressions across social media, newsletters, and Google Ads, driving at least 12,000 annual views to the new RHRC website.
  • Build Conversion Funnels: Create clear pathways for each consulting service, including downloadable resources for potential conversions.
  • Increase Newsletter Sign-Ups: Secure 3,500 new newsletter subscribers representing every state.
  • Enhance Visibility: Ensure rural hospitals, hospital associations, public health offices, and legislative/regulatory officials can easily find and engage with resources.

Results

Following the new, large-scale website launch in 2024, RHRC experienced a dramatic surge in user engagement and credibility within the rural healthcare space. By integrating intuitive design, informative funnels, and downloadable resources, the revamped platform successfully informed multiple target audiences, from small rural hospitals to legislative bodies. JSR’s commitment to user-focused design and strategic marketing led to measurable improvements, solidifying RHRC’s reputation as a national leader in rural health solutions.
